JUNKO...<br />we unpacked our store and did some belaying exercises... the harness quite painful sia.. then we purposely belay until very hard to hurt the other guy on the other end.. pretty fun...<br />we also did trust fall and teambuilding games...<br />had biscuits for lunch la.. wtf... i came there wif a sore throat and now u tell me to eat biscuits for lunch....<br />went to our beautiful campsite in the forests wif the muddy ground and two big spiders on the webs hanging in the middle... juz wonderful....<br />kb walked straight into one spider web la... dam scary.. the spider, bigger than ur palm, is like crawling on him.... eww...<br />anyway, me, zc, zk and dom cooked dinner for the watch...k, mainly zc...<br />we had rice and sardines, sausages and mushrooms i tink...<br />bathing sux... the toilet was all sandy... and i hate sand...<br />the tent was very smalll... i was scratching my hands like crazy at nite cuz of the sandflies and mozzies wich bit the hell out of me...<br />day 2<br />bread for breakfast and we packed all our stuff for the trek on the next day...<br />then we did flying fox... it was DAMN nice.... the feeling of sliding down that 5 storey tower is so shiok... but when u hit the tyre, the pain comes....<br />after lunch, we trekked to our campsite...<br />we treakked around 7.5 km... and our navis screwed up so we got lost at the start...<br />din, our instructor, haf to lead us to the campsite...<br />still, we reached the campsite same time as marco polo, who started earlier and din get lost....<br />the campsite was better than day 1... but not that good oso la...<br />had a pretty good dinner thx to wonderful cook... ZC...<br />we had rice wif peanuts, curry chicked, sardines and mushrooms and sausages...<br />at nite we got tcs, talk cock session... we play some one word game which became really sick... then we talk abt the german girl shrine which freaked zc out... then saw dunman ppl nite walk la... then norman and zc there shouting to them all the sick stuff... cant stand them...<br />anyway... sleeping that time was slightly better..<br />day 3<br />we unpitched tents and packed stuff.... haf campebell soup wif bread for brakfast... so innovative rite?<br />then we trekked to our checkpoints without getting lost cuz of the fantastic navis...<br />on the way saw dunman ppl again.. they walk until so shiok... no bags.. then we super demoralised... walk pass marina resort and saw dunman ppl inside again.. demoralised even more....<br />reached camp 1 ,30mins earlier than marco polo, whu started earlier again, juz before it rain....<br />had some height activities and pitched our tents.. than had the wonderful dinner provided by their cook house... omg super nice...<br />cuz after that everyone stomach ache all go toilet...<br />bathed and went to sleep... once again, it was very itchy plus the toads are damn noisy so another sleepless nite...<br />day 4<br />water activities... morning ate breakfast then went kayaking....<br />kayaking was damn fun la... although the salt water made my wounds, frm scratching the bites, hurt like shit...<br />we kayaked to camp 2 whr we had lunch.. we also had capsize exercises which is so fun.... we capsize then let ppl come save us.... <br />frm camp 2, we kayaked again around the crab island back to camp 1....<br />damn fun la.. i kayaked all the way to yi zhang's kayak for sun block... <br />then we threw oranges in the water....<br />in camp 1, we bathed and bagan to trek all the way back to camp 2....<br />this time we trekked wif marco polo...<br />at nite, we pitched tents and ate dinner....<br />we ate too little in the first 3 days so we left alot of food...<br />then for dinner, we had 28 packets of magi mee shared among 14 ppl and we had sardines, ikan bilis, baked beans and mushrooms...<br />it was one of the best dinner....<br />at nite was .. nvm.. u all should know...<br />day 5<br />final day... morning woke up when we felt water cuz water leaked into our tent la...<br />it was raining very heavily.. we took poncho and chiong to store whr we had breakfast... after that, we packed our store and stole alot of stuff frm other ppl...<br />packed our bags and prepare to head home....<br />went to souveneir shop and i bought a sleeveless tee...<br />we felt like damn nice when we finally reached civilisation, singapore...<br />me and alan went serangoon interchange for lunch.. so shuang...<br />then went comic store and back home....<br />i straight away bathed and dota then sleep la....<br />overall.. i think the main factor i survived this camp was my wonderful watchmates...<br />they were really cooperative la.. thx guys..<br />overall... this camp was great... except for my 20+ or 30 sanflies and mozzies bites... obs made me appreciate dota more.... :)<br />well today no guitar i am back from my hol... this will be quite a long post...<br />day 1 --<br />my aunt picked up us at our house and sent us to the airport...<br />reach and checked in then we went to walk around cuz we still have lots of time...<br />me and my bro played one lexus cup chipping challenge thingy...<br />hole-in-one can win 200 bucks worth of shopping voucher sia...<br />but unfortunately, our names failed to make it on the board...<br />then my bro bought some psp games from the shops...<br />then we boarded the plane... i watched click on the plane...<br />nice movie... very funny but a little.... u know...<br />my bro played some mahjong stuff.... ate our dinner on the plane...<br />reach bali at around 6... my mum arranged a private tour guide and he picked us up...<br />we went to the resort and it was dark so we cant really see the resort well...<br />we went for a light supper at one restaurant in the resort..<br />the corn chowder soup we ordered was.... like corn in milk.... disgusting...<br />day 2--<br />we woke up at around 8... washed up and went to the regency club lounge for breakfast...<br />then the guide picked us up at around 9.30..<br />we went to some indonesian dance thingy and watched the dance...<br />although we couldn't understand... but it was a rather cool experience...<br />then we went to a village called mas and my mum bought a wooden craving...<br />we bargained a little before getting the price we wanted...<br />next, we went to a restaurant situated on top a hill....<br />from the restaurant, we could see a beautiful lake and a valcano....<br />the view was magnificient.... the food was ok... fruit juice was nice...<br />then we went to visit a hindu temple... there was this pool where many ppl swam there...<br />the guide said that it is called the spring of youth.. but seeing the number of ppl soaked in the spring... we have no intention of touching the water...<br />then the driver sent us back to the resort where we bathed and clean up..<br />then we ate at the grill restaurant within the resort itself...<br />day 3--<br />morning woke up 7.30.... omg... i skipped breakfast because it was so damn early...<br />met them at the main lobby where the guide picked us up at around 9...<br />went to some odyssey underwater thing... it was in some ulu place...<br />not many ppl... less than 15 i think... we put on life jackets...<br />then the boat picked us up and sent us to the submarine...<br />the submarine was rather small... but so cool.... we could see the marine life outside...<br />then the submarine went underwater and there were like lots of marine life...<br />the corals were huge... fishes were beautiful... wonderful experience...<br />the ride lasted like 45 minustes and we went back to shore to have our lunch...<br />then we went to a art studio... it was huge... 3 storeys i think...<br />we spent like 3 hours there... bought 3 paintings... my bro chose them...<br />i am not that artistic... so i juz agree on everything...<br />my mum bargained the price of one painting to 1 third the price... bravo...<br />then a slight disargument occured... my parents refused to paint my new room black!!!<br />my current room's color is like white???.....but we gt over that fast...<br />they bought me two paintings as conpensation... and i am fine wif it...<br />they got the big painting for our new house of a beach wif ppl fishing... lame??...<br />we went to some place for shopping where i bought a guitar model...<br />then we went back to the resort to bath and change...<br />then the guide fetched us for dinner at jinbaran <> beach...<br />it was a wonderful place... we were eating on the beach facing the sea...<br />there is a group of ppl there playing songs... the seafood was nice...<br />then my father settle the bill... my bro and i juz stick to the seats...<br />all of the sudden, a huge wave hit the shore and the water came all the way up...<br />the waiters ran and the ppl in front of us... their feet were wet...<br />luckily, me and my bro sensed danger earliere on and ran back and our feet were dry... lol..<br />went back and lay flat on the bed....<br />day 4--<br />free and easy day... once again i skipped breakfast....<br />i wake up straight away for lunch.. ate at the resort restaurant.. a different...<br />cuz there are like five restaurants within the resort not counting the bars...<br />watched tv in the resort room then at around 4... went to the beach for a swim...<br />but to our suprise... it is low tide... and seriously... low.... it is like 100m away from the actual place where the seaweeds are...<br />we juz wade around and we found many stuff... we caught 5 star fishes....<br />2 prawns... 2 crabs and like 40 hermits.... we oso got 3 sea snails....<br />then me and my bro washed the sand off our feet and jumped into the pool where we wrestled...<br />if only our cuz are here man..... it is gonna be so much fun..<br />went back tot the room and washed up ....<br />then we went for dinner at the italian restaurant within the resort...<br />ate pasta and pizza.... the ambience was great... juz us alone...<br />day 5--<br />finally the day of departure...<br />woke up freaking early like 6.... holy .... but i haf to wake up la... cuz haf to catch the plane...<br />the guide picked us up and sent us to the airport and we had pasta for breakfast there...<br />took the 9am flight... i watched john tucker must die on the plane..<br />it was a nice movie and damn funny...<br />thats the end of the trip... i wun say i would like to go back there again...<br />cuz there are nothing much to see...<br />one thing is ... never drink the soups served there... it is NOT that nice....<br />kinda buggy despatch...<br />then went back to the arcade there...<br />the arcade auntie not there yet...argh...so we played pool...<br />when the auntie came, my bro rushed up asking her to turn on the machines...<br />then he slammed at the marvel vs capcom machine...<br />i got to say he is quite pro la...<br />every coin he use, he will get high score...<br />juz one coin and his name will be in the high score board...<br />then my dad came to find us and we went for lunch...<br />ate beef kway teow and realised that the pro shop is selling drivers at $99 and $49!!<br />omg...maruman drivers...muz be damn lan wan la...so cheap..<br />went back to range and practise when glen came...<br />wif that fireball driver he borrowed for the shop...lol..<br />omg..it is like a 14 degree loft driver la...<br />after that went lesson...watched caddy shack... the movie..<br />damn nice lor...we watch until 15 minutes extra after lessons ended...<br />then went for par 3 and guess wads damn rough...omg...<br />at around 1.30, we walked to the bus-stop to take bus...duh..<br />we took 14 to suntec..<br />walked around the place and try to decide a place for lunch...<br />at first, we I wan a break. I could not wait for the end of year exam to arrive so that i can take a nice long break from all that stressful and busy school life. Tomorrow i haf 2 tests, thursday 1 test and next wekk many more.....<br /><br />I really wondered how come teachers are so free to actually set so many tests papers! LOL. I want to get As but i am just too lazy to study.<br />Nowadays, school is getting more boring, especially during my english lessons. The teacher is like a sub machine gun firing non-stop bullets of chim words right into our tiny and innocent minds. It is not that i want to say but actually, she is quite 'crazy'.<br /><br />Two weeks ago, while she was teaching, a rubber band flew right at her and landed in front of her. She was furious. She scolded the whole class and asked the culprit to admit. Unfortunately, no one stepped out. She decided to keep us back during recess for the entire year until the culprit admits and write a personal apology letter to her. I mean C'mon, it is just a rubber band....What's more, it did not even hit her. Why must she kick up such a big fuss about this? In the end, she pushed all the blame to a student just because he had a rubber band around his wrist.
